Visma Sirius provides diverse solutions for the real estate sector and employs around 160 specialists in six locations around Finland.
The company has made substantial investments in the health and fitness of its workforce, as demonstrated by earning the "Mental Health Friendly Workplace" certification from Mental Health Finland and being a finalist in Finland’s Most Active Workplace competition at the national Sports Gala in 2023.
Background
Visma Sirius has consistently promoted employee activity as part of its culture, offering exercise and recreation benefits alongside annual activity challenges and wellbeing challenges. These efforts, initially managed using basic tools like Excel, eventually led the HR team to seek a more streamlined solution. The goal was to enhance efficiency in challenge management, track progress more effectively, and inspire broader participation among employees.
Solution
In late 2023, Visma Sirius evaluated various options on the market and chose HeiaHeia, finding it the best fit for their needs.
"The onboarding process was smooth, and we had a clear understanding of what was happening at each stage. Interaction with HeiaHeia’s customer service team has been seamless, with quick responses and flexible scheduling.
HeiaHeia provided valuable support especially during the early stages, offering practical help and examples of how other companies utilize the service. This allowed us to align solutions with our goals."
Sonja Lindstedt, People Operations Manager – Visma Sirius
Implementation
With the help of HeiaHeia, Visma Sirius aimed to support employee activity and wellbeing and fostering a culture that supports wellbeing.
HeiaHeia kicked off with a year-long fitness pass challenge, motivating employees to engage in 20 minutes of exercise each day. Throughout the challenge, participants worked towards earning 12 digital stamps over the year, fostering regular involvement and activity.
In addition to the fitness pass, shorter challenges with diverse themes were arranged. For instance, the four-week Mind Your Wellbeing challenge concentrated on mental health, promoting small but impactful actions and decisions to enhance psychological wellbeing, both personally and with peers. At the same time, the Try10 challenge motivated employees to explore ten different ways to be physical active.
In addition to gamified challenges and peer support, motivation was reinforced with rewards. In the fitness card challenge, participants who collected all 12 stamps received a wellness-related product reward. For shorter challenges, prizes were drawn among all who met their goals. The use of incentives increased engagement and added an extra layer of excitement to the challenges.
